Vinyl Bitch is the first in our line-up of Long Live Vinyl’s best live events of 2025. Celebrating their second anniversary just last month, with an event that saw celebrity guests like Peaches and DJ Enzo Is Burning in attendance, founder Madison True describes it to us as…:

“A grassroots, London-based community that empowers FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, Agender) DJs and turntablists through open decks, club nights, workshops, record crawls, and panel talks.”
Their mission – to “reclaim the decks in a culture that still overwhelmingly centers cis men… demystifying technology (with) learning, community, and wholesome activism” – has so far taken in everything from Technics-sponsored workshops to monthly open decks and club nights at Dalston Superstore, with takeovers at Planet Wax and Next Door Records, and panels on visibility, access, and vinyl culture”.
What does the Long Live Vinyl ‘bronze label’ signify? It means that you really have to give whoever or whatever we’ve awarded it to your attention. It’s by no means a runner-up or lacking in any way; it’s important and would be a valuable addition to your vinyl collection or vinyl lifestyle.
