In the wake of last week’s live rendition of the song, accompanied by Laurie Anderson at Carnegie Hall, the We Are The People video melds Iggy’s interpretation of a poem written by Lou Reed in 1970 with a new visual dimension.
On 7 March at Perrotin in New York City, Iggy will release a limited, numbered vinyl ‘Test Pressing’ of FREE, featuring cover art and creative collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan. The pair are set to sign copies of the test pressing, which has been made available in 240 numbered units worldwide, including a 7″ featuring two unreleased tracks exclusive to this special artistic collaboration.
FREE was originally released 13 September 2019 by Loma Vista Recordings and features collaborators Leron Thomas (trumpet/keys/songwriter) and Noveller (guitar/vocals).
