Led Zeppelin’s 50th anniversary celebrations will kick off with a remastered edition of live album How The West Was Won on March 23 via Atlantic Records/Swan Song. The remastering of the reissue was supervised by the band’s guitarist Jimmy Page, and it’s the first time the record will have been available on vinyl.
Originally released in 2003, How The West Was Won features highlights from Zeppelin’s 1972 US tour recorded from gigs at The Forum in Inglewood, California on 25 June 25 Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on 27 June 27.
The track listing includes Zeppelin classics Stairway To Heaven, Immigrant Song, Black Dog and Moby Dick, with a 25-minute workout of Dazed & Confused and 21-minute“medley including Whole Lotta Love.
The band have hinted at further treats to come across 2018 as they mark the 50th anniversary of their formation.
