Discogs reveals most collected releases of 2017 by genre

Discogs, the world’s largest database of physical music, has revealed the most collected releases of 2017 on vinyl by genre.


Internationally, Queens Of The Stone Age’s Villains, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. and Gorillaz’s Humanz are amongst collectors’ top buys, while punk-metal band Converge landed three entries in the hardcore category.

Discogs has a catalogue of more than 9,250,000 recordings and 5,000,000 artists, making it the largest physical music database in the world with more than 37 million items available.
