John Molesworth illustrates the magic of Record Store Day

This past weekend saw a flurry of desirable gems arrive at local retailers for the 10th Record Store Day. Whether you were leafing through the new arrivals in person or following the action on social media it’s an experience unlike any other. One thing you may not have seen is these wonderful illustrations from It’s Nice That’s John Molesworth who took to the streets of London to soak up the atmosphere.

Though there’s a fair share of pushing and shoving to grab your most coveted item, there’s also plenty of good natured digging whereupon you’ll likely encounter like-minded fans who just love the music and the medium, something that Molesworth’s perfectly captures in his illustrations.
