They’re one of the many big names the critically acclaimed festival have secured for their lineup…
Following on from the previous announcements – Tame Impala (Saturday May 23), Massive Attack (Sunday May 24), Kraftwerk (Friday May 29) and The Kooks and The Wombats (Saturday May 30), All Points East can reveal that indie icons Bombay Bicycle Club set as the latest headlining act, performing on Friday May 22.
It’s already been quite the year for Bombay Bicycle Club. Having celebrated the ten year anniversary of their much-loved album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose in 2019, they then ended a four year hiatus of new music with the new critically acclaimed comeback Everything Else Has Gone Wrong.
Also featuring on the Friday is: BRIT nominee Loyle Carner, singer/songwriter/guitarist Lianne La Havas, Mercury Prize nominees Everything Everything, AIM ‘Independent Album Of The Year’ winner Nadine Shah, singer/songwriter Nick Hakim, singer Nilüfer Yanya, pop trio The Orielles, Bombay Bicycle Club collaborators Gengahr, guitarist and singer Liz Lawrence.
All Points East were hailed as Q Magazine’s ‘Festival Of The Year’ in 2019 and with a line-up this promising, we have no doubts that this year will be just as good, if not better, than the last.
