Beck has released Dark Places, a brand new track featured on his forthcoming 14th studio album, Hyperspace, due for release 22 November…
Hyperspace will mark the seven-time GRAMMY-winner’s most collaborative effort to date, featuring co-production from Pharrell Williams, guest collaborators Sky Ferreria, Paul Epworth, Chris Martin, and Greg Kurstein.
Dark Places follows closely on the heels of single Uneventful Days, which was hailed by Stereogum as “quite possibly the best song Beck has made since Morning Phase” and realized as a video by Dev Hynes that features album intro Hyperlife as well as starring roles from Evan Rachel Wood, Tessa Thompson and Alia Shawkat.
Hyperspace will be released November 22nd on Capitol Records. The new record will be Beck’s 14th studio album and first since 2017’s Colors, which won Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at the 61st GRAMMY Awards. Hyperspace’s release will be followed by Beck’s 6 December headline appearance at the Intersect festival in Las Vegas.
