Long Live Vinyl joined thousands of crate diggers at day one of the world’s biggest record fair – the Record Planet Mega Record & CD Fair in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Packed with exhibitors from all over Europe and beyond, the Mega Record & CD Fair is an annual pilgrimage for vinyl addicts from across the continent.
As well as the 525 vinyl dealers who filled 12,500sq metres of Utrecht’s Jaarbeurs Convention Centre, day one of the fair saw live music performances, an auction of rare vinyl hosted by Omega Auctions, vinyl art by the incredible Henk Zielman and a Summer Of Love 50th anniversary exhibition featuring Sgt Pepper’s costumes originally made for a BBC documentary.
Check out our gallery of images from the show below. We’ll be back at the Mega Record & CD Fair on day two, and there’ll be a full report in issue three of Long Live Vinyl.
