Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever release new single

The Australian indie rock band are gearing up for one of their biggest years yet…

Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever

Since the release of their debut album in 2016, Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever have fine tuned their signature guitar pop sound and have taken it on the road. As well as travelling to some of the world’s biggest festivals,—Coachella, Primavera, Green Man and Splendour In The Grass, just to name a few— the tour to promote their third album Hope Downs was sold-out in multiple countries.

How they found time to record in the middle of all that we’re not sure, but we are excited to announce that RBCF have just released a new single. Cars In Space features everything the band has come to be so widely-known for; jangling three-guitar melodies, drifting vocals and tight chemistry from the five-piece group.

Speaking of the track, the band’s Fran Keaney said: “In my head this song is set inside a car. It’s the swirling words and thoughts before a break-up.”
Accompanying the single is a sun-drenched video, directed by Nick Mckk alongside co-director Julia Jacklin. Set in broad daylight at an old-school Australian drive-in, the clip is full of charm and plenty of surprises for Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever fans.
The band are set to play a number of upcoming shows and festivals including All Points East, Sydney Opera House, Perth Festival and Nine Lives Festival.
